STRENGTH IN NUMBERS

At Chicago Strength, we believe that both the quantification of your training and working in a team environment will lead to the greatest improvements in individual health. Our walls are not covered in mirrors, as we are focused on the numbers – the load, the reps, the duration. Aesthetics should be a byproduct of a successful program, not the focus. Training in a group setting provides motivation, competition, accountability, and support. The more people working together towards a common goal, the more likely that they will all accomplish it.

Our programming is designed around building strength, athleticism, metabolic conditioning, skill development, and mobility; all while keeping our members engaged and safe from injury. This approach to fitness is the best method for creating a highly functional athlete for any setting.

STRENGTH OF MIND: (philosophy)

Showing up at the gym to grind, day-in and day-out, is a commitment of the mind. Volunteering yourself to discomfort and exhaustion, knowing that it will benefit you in the long run, is an example of self-regulatory abilities such as delayed gratification, willpower, and inhibitory control. These abilities have been shown to be the pillars of mental strength for most successful individuals.

Each of our locations boasts a robust community of like-minded individuals focused on health and self-improvement. We have situated our gyms in neighborhoods, so that we can be a second home to our members. Countless friendships and relationships have been forged while covered in chalk and sweat.
